WOMAD Refer a friend terms and conditions
By taking part in this promotion, you agree to be bound by the following terms & conditions:
Promotion: Ecotricity customers can refer up to four friends for one, free WOMAD 2023 weekend ticket worth £260. The Promoter is Ecotricity Limited. The Laws of England & Wales govern this promotion.
Incentive: One free adult weekend ticket for WOMAD Charlton Park on 27–30 July 2023 (WOMAD) for the referring customer and up to four friends. Ticket allows access to the campsite and festival arena from 12 noon on Thursday 27 July 2023 through to Sunday 30 July 2023. Parking for one vehicle is also included. The Incentive does not include costs of travel to/from WOMAD and live-in vehicle tickets must be purchased separately.
The Promoter will not be responsible for any failure to gain entry or re-entry to WOMAD due to behaviour or failure to meet WOMAD’s admission requirements. Ticket holders are responsible for checking WOMAD’s admission requirements prior to arrival.
If you are unable to attend WOMAD for any reason, no cash alternative or ticket rollover will be available.
The promotion ends on 02 July 2023. New customer (Referred Customer):
The Promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Only available for households in mainland UK (exc. N. Ireland).
Only one Ecotricity offer per household can be redeemed in one calendar year.
The offer applies to Ecotricity’s Green Electricity and Green Gas tariffs. Other tariffs available from Ecotricity are not eligible for the offer.
The Promotion is open to new customers switching their electricity, gas or dual fuel (electricity and gas) supply to Ecotricity, and also existing customers of Ecotricity who switch from another tariff to an applicable tariff. The offer is for one ticket per household, not per fuel.
In order to qualify, the switch to Ecotricity must be completed (i.e. your supply has gone live) before 07 July 2023 and you must stay on supply with Ecotricity for the 14 days after your supply has gone live.
The Promotion is not available: (a) to applicants who have previously switched to Ecotricity as part of an earlier Ecotricity and WOMAD promotion (b) to customers who already receive a Green Electricity and/or Green gas supply from Ecotricity at the same or another household, (c) to applicants who’ve already applied and are waiting for a supply start date(s); (d) to applicants who cancel their application to switch to Ecotricity within the 14 days after their supply goes live; (e) if we’re unable to provide the supply of mains electricity or gas (f) to employees of Ecotricity.
Providing their account is live, as set out above, the Customer will be sent a unique identifier by the 24 July 2023, to the email address on their account, allowing access to the website where they will be able to download their ticket. The Promoter cannot be responsible for late or non-delivery due to incorrect email address details being provided or other factors beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
Switch requests (which can be made by telephone or online) must be accompanied by promotion code RAFWOM and the Unique Customer Referral Code. These codes which will be provided by the Promoter to the Referring Customer via email.
There is no cash alternative and tickets cannot be sold or transferred.
The Promotion may vary or be withdrawn at any time without prior notice. In the event the Promotion is withdrawn Ecotricity will honour any outstanding Incentives.
Existing customer (Referring Customer)
The Promotion is open to all existing domestic Ecotricity customers on application to the Promoter. Only one Incentive per household.
The Promoter will supply Referring Customers with a promotion code (RAFWOM) and a Unique Customer Referral Code via email for up to four Referred Customers to use. This Unique Customer Code or your name must be quoted by the Referred Customers when switching to Ecotricity for this offer to be valid. If the Referred Customer does not quote this on switching, no Incentive will be allocated.
The Referring Customer can refer up to four new customers to receive one free ticket each. The Referring Customer will only receive one ticket in total.
The Referred Customer must not (a) have previously switched to Ecotricity as part of an earlier Ecotricity and WOMAD promotion and then switched away; (b) already be on a Green Electricity or Green Gas tariff from Ecotricity, at the same or another household (c) be waiting for a supply start date(s) at the time of the referral; (d) cancel their application to switch to Ecotricity within the 14 days after their supply goes live (e) be an employee of Ecotricity or (f) be a pay as you go customer.
In order to qualify, the Referred Customer’s switch to Ecotricity must be completed (i.e. the supply has gone live) on or before 07 July 2023 and they must stay on supply for the 14 days after their supply goes live.
The Promoter will email the ticket(s) to the email address on record for the Referring Customer by 24 July 2023 providing the referred customer's account has gone on supply with Ecotricity. The Promoter cannot be responsible for late or non-delivery due to incorrect email address details being provided or other factors beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
There is no cash alternative and the tickets cannot be sold or transferred.
The Promotion may vary or be withdrawn at any time without prior notice. In the event the Promotion is withdrawn Ecotricity will honour any outstanding Incentives.
