Who is the platform for?
From shops to manufacturers, to charities to any of the other 4.8 million SME businesses in the UK, the new platform is designed for you to have a quick and easy online journey for securing deep green energy for your business.
If you are a limited company, charity/religious organisation or sole trader, then you will be able to use the platform. That’s the case whether you are an existing Ecotricity business customer, or if you’re interested in joining us for the first time in our mission to get rid of fossil fuels.

What is the platform and how does it work?
We have worked with Tickd to create the new self-serve switching and renewal journey for SME businesses.
At any convenient time, you can visit the platform and choose whether you’re interested in 100% green electricity, carbon neutral gas or both. We will then just need a few details about you and your business.
From there, we’ll be able to analyse your current energy usage. We’ll give you a quote for your monthly payments on various contract terms, with a breakdown of the costs including the standing charge. We’ll then draft the contract online so you can sign up there and then.
What are the benefits of using the platform?
The online tool means the entire journey for switching to or renewing with us can be completed online at whatever time or in whatever way is convenient for you around everything else you’ll be managing at your business.
