We are joining forces with LIVE, the voice of the UK’s contemporary live music sector, as part of our ongoing commitment towards sustainability in live events.

Following our support of December’s LIVE Awards, where we sponsored the LIVE Green category at the prestigious event, we will now step up the support, advice and solutions needed for the sector to take meaningful climate action.

As part of the partnership, we will join the Friends of LIVE programme. Together, we will work to champion greener practices, share expertise, and help industry professionals take actionable steps toward sustainability, as part of the LIVE Green and LIVE Venues groups.

Additionally, we will deliver two LIVE Talks focused on sustainability over the coming year. These talks will provide invaluable insights into the role of renewable energy in the live music sector, offering practical guidance for venues, festivals, and event organisers looking to reduce their carbon footprint. The dates and further details for these talks will be announced in the coming weeks.

Chris Organ, Ecotricity’s Head of B2B Sales & Marketing, said: “We’re excited to be working with LIVE to help the live music industry harness sustainable solutions. Live music has the power to inspire change and, through this partnership, we hope to showcase another way for the sector.”

Jon Collins, CEO of LIVE, added: “After Ecotricity sponsored the LIVE Green category at the LIVE Awards, it was clear there was more we could do together. We are proud to welcome them into the LIVE community and look forward to working together to create a more sustainable future for live music.”
