We had a fantastic time attending Vegan Camp Out in 2021. It was great to meet so many like-minded vegans and to teach them all about vegan energy. We found that although many people check the ingredients of their food to ensure it’s vegan, many don’t check their energy supply. Often, people will just assume that there aren’t any animal by-products in the energy mix but unfortunately this isn’t always the case.
This year we’ll be back at the festival with a stand alongside our partners at Viva!, plus we’ll be hosting a talk with special guests at The Education Tent.
Join us on Sunday at 12:45pm with our panel, “Hidden ingredients – how far do we look?” where alongside our special guests Juliet Gellatley, founder of Viva!, and Henry and Ian, founders of BOSH!, we’ll be discussing how far vegans should look into hidden ingredients when it comes to different areas of their lifestyle. This includes clothes purchases, food, cosmetics and furniture. We’ll also be asking questions such as, should we be considering the supply chain? What’s our money really funding? And is it okay to support big brands offering vegan options?
We’re excited to come together with our friends, Juliet, Henry and Ian, and invite you, our audience, to get involved with your thoughts and opinions from the audience and online.
Not only we will be hosting this fascinating talk, but we will also have a few of our fantastic team members attending on our stand who would love to meet as many people as they can and answer all their questions. Our stand will feature games, competitions and opportunities for prizes to be won. We’ll be launching our new offer with Vegan Camp Out which enables you to 50% off a VCO24 ticket when you switch to us!* If you’re heading to Vegan Camp Out, make sure you come and say hello and ask to find out more.
We hope to see you there!

Green energy is still a relatively new concept – especially when you consider the fact that the first coal-fired power station was built in London in 1882. It’s not surprising that there are still a lot of myths out there.
